I write because it’s how I make sense of things.

I write novels. I write poems. Some poems turn into lyrics. Some stories are better told as songs. Some songs are written for my grandkids — little lessons pulled from real life, meant to stick long after the tune fades.

This site isn’t one thing on purpose.

It’s a place for long-form writing and short reflections. For lyrics that started as poems. For poems that never needed music. For stories that felt truer when sung instead of explained. For guidance pieces meant to be heard by kids, but understood by adults too.

None of this is about being polished or current. It’s about being honest and letting experience speak in whatever form it chooses.

If you’re someone who likes words, stories, music, or the way lessons show up quietly over time, you’ll probably find something here that resonates.

That’s the intent.

ARE CLICHES CLICHES

Some phrases are meant to comfort. Some are meant to end the conversation. This song asks what happens when we live inside them.
